Are you working with historical photographic processes and facing a problem you cannot resolve? Are you developing a photographic series, preparing an exhibition, or looking for a technique that best suits your project? Or perhaps you are conducting research and need specialist advice on historical photographic processes?

Mentoring is an individual session focused on your work, your project, or a specific issue you would like to address.

We offer online consultations on historical and alternative photographic processes, photographic technology, troubleshooting technical problems, and selecting the most appropriate process for the intended result.

We can also review a photographic series, artistic project, or exhibition with you — from the initial concept and choice of techniques to the analysis and selection of the finished work.

Our mentoring is intended both for those beginning their journey with historical photographic processes and for photographers, artists, students, and researchers.

How does mentoring work?

Before the session, you can send us a description of the problem or project you are working on, together with relevant photographs or other materials. This allows us to use the consultation time to focus directly on the issues that matter to you rather than spending the beginning of the session becoming familiar with the project.

The consultation takes place online and is tailored to your level of experience and the nature of your work.
