Negative inserts are indispensable each time we want to use sheet film (as the ones made these days) in order to take pictures with the older type of photographic camera with film holders designed to take glass negtives. The inserts provide the necessary rigidity allowing the film to remain flat while taking the correct position inside the holder so that the negative plane is in the same location as the ground glass.

The inserts arrived ultra-fast and well packaged. For my camera (Build in the year 1929) I had to shorten them a little (approx. 0.3 mm) and press the folded corners together a little at the bottom with a carpenter's vice - now they fit very well.
