Vandyke brown sensitizer250 ml

Sensitizer for making Vandyke brownprints, sufficient to make approximately 250 A5 prints.

Vandyke Brown is one of the oldest, together with cyanotype and salted paper, photographic processes. Similarly to all the other historical processes, the prints are made in contact with the negative using a light source rich in ultraviolet light (such as sunlight or a suntaning lamp). The exposed prints are next developed in water and fixed using sodium thiosulphate. Prints made in this way are characterised by good permanence, soft tonality and beautiful brown colour.
