An opportunity to go back to the very beginnings of photography: back to the salted paper invented by Talbot himself, to the first printing method that was used for making photographic prints on a mass scale. Originally Talbot used paper negatives, then the wetplate became a perfect match. Now, we can make successful prints making any of the historical processes as well as modern negatives or even digital ones, printed on the Pictorico transparency.
Salprints are characterised with good permanence and delicate brownish colour. They tone easily with gold or platinum and require toning.
The sensitiser will be sufficient to make approx 30 24x30cm prints.
